From pitch to pixel: My journey into sports photography

Hi, my name's Erin, I've always been drawn to the dynamic world of sport, actively participating in everything from football to climbing since I was young. Alongside this, I've had a lifelong interest in photography which naturally led me to combine these two passions. I have a background in film-making and am still very interested in the cinematography/ videography aspect of the camera world, but have decided to focus on  sports photography as it encompasses two lifelong passions of mine. Capturing the emotion of every victory

With my photography style I'm always aiming for well-composed, action-packed moments. What truly drives me is the ability to capture the authentic emotions of the athletes – the determination, the triumph, the focus. Every shot aims to tell a story beyond just the action itself.

Not just a photographer- A fellow sports enthusiast

Behind the camera, I'm very involved in sports myself. You'll often find me on the pitch playing for/ training with my two football teams, in the gym or climbing. Staying active is incredibly important to me, not just for physical well-being but for mental health too. This personal connection to sport allows me to bring an authentic understanding and empathy to every project I take on.
